Tension Releasing Exercises (TRE®, spoken as T.R.E.) is a simple body-based method that calms your nervous system and releases deep muscular patterns of stress and tension. The TRE practice helps you activate the primal reflex of somatic shaking, which naturally occurs in every human being. TRE is a safe and effective stress release technique for most people, and can be complementary to talk therapy or other somatic work.
