JIMMY SERRANO - BOSS YOGA & PILATES
I’m Jimmy Serrano, a fitness instructor and practitioner with 10 years of practice and 5 years of teaching experience.
I teach many modalities: Hatha Yoga, Bikram Yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, Meditation, Sculpt, Barre, Mat Pilates (aka Inferno Hot Pilates) Dance inspired by Zumba, and Aquatic Fitness.
I have my own small in-house studio, Boss Yoga & Pilates, Inc, which is located right at my B&B called “Stay At Jimmy’s.” The studio caters to my guests as well as the public.
During Covid I ventured up to Woodstock from Boston along with my partner, John, and our Black Lab, Conrad, and instantly fell in love with the place. We decided to make a permanent move. Of course, we had to add to the pack. So joining the family were Matilda (our chocolate Lab who we call ‘’Matty Lou,‘’ ‘cause she’s a country girl) and Mabel, our precious black cat.
We took a chance and went for it! Ever since then I have been putting down roots here and was quite literally recognized for it by The Woodstock Garden Club when they awarded us “Streetscape of the Year” for 2022.
I love Woodstock!
I have enjoyed getting to know the locals and they have been super welcoming. I feel blessed to be a part of the community and able to share my practice and expertise as well as learn from fellow practitioners.
I am extremely passionate about my practice, and I would love it if everyone tried yoga at least once. It will change your life! I enjoy the process and recognize that every day the body is different, but every day is a new opportunity to give it your best!
Work with what you got and, remember, that’s good enough!
