CHELSEY SEERING

My yoga journey began in 2009 when I had taken a yoga class as a college elective course in Chicago. I then began to widen my understanding of yoga through courses at Naropa University, in Boulder, CO. In 2016 I received my 200HR YTT certificate at Samadhi Yoga, in Denver. I hadn't expected to be teaching, but wanted to deepen and strengthen my own practice, as well as understand the body in a different way than what I was learning while attending school for Nutrition. When moving to Vermont, I knew I wanted to create a new "yoga home", one which could hold others and myself in the multitude of ways other studios and schools had held me in the past.

Fast forward a few years to opening Wise Pines with my husband and two young kids. Wise Pines is an ever evolving entity that has always had the base of bringing people together through sustainable & holistic practices.

When opening Wise Pines, it only seemed natural to teach in my own home. And I've been LOVING IT. To me, yoga is fun, balancing and feels simply good. To me, yoga is a practice that allows for transformation and community.
