CAROLYN BARNWELL - STRESS RESILIENCE

Hello! I'm Carolyn. I'm a stress resilience coach and teacher who helps people learn to speak their body’s language and feel lighter and freer. My nervous system-based approach allows people to redefine their relationship with their body as a trustworthy companion rather than an enemy causing stress and anxiety.

Exploring mind/body wellness has been the most influential driver of my life for almost 20 years, starting with my own journey to overcome crippling post-traumatic stress and anxiety from global humanitarian documentary work.

I love to help people relate to themselves as their own best healer. Whether facilitating in a group setting or private session, I'm known for providing nervous system support that allows for truly restorative rest, deep insight, and feeling recharged. I share tools and practices based on neurophysiology such as somatic exercises, breathwork, and TRE®.

When we work together, you can expect intentional, self-paced, reinvigorating experiences informed by my background as a producer, leadership coach and nervous system fitness trainer.

I have a degree in Human Ecology from Middlebury was previously the Head of Production at the impact agency GROUND in Washington, D.C., and a staff producer at National Geographic. I'm a certified Life and Leadership Coach and TRE® Provider (Tension Releasing Exercises). I'm also a wife, toddler mom, swimmer, and stargazer.

People often come to me when it seems like they've "tried everything," but know they could feel even better. My work creates new possibilities for my clients' lives, their work, their bodies, and beyond.
